Looking for information on how to find details of WW1 deaths in Chicago in 1918? My great grand uncle was shot in Chicago supposedly during a train robbery in 1918 during WW1. He later died in a Chicago hospital. He was an Army Officer and it is told that he was guarding the train. My family refers to him as Jack Kimble which was a nickname. His given name is A.E. Kimble, i believe first name Abraham. I have found information on the rest of my family such as his brother Nolen Kimble's draft registration card. As far as military records, he seems not to exist. I have 2 photos of him. He was born in Pendleton Co. Wv. He is burried in that area also. I believe that he taught other soldiers to shoot. He was born July 17, 1896 and died November 9,1918 while still serving. I cannot find anything at all on this person. Could someone please help?

Who do you write when you have a complaint against hospitals in Chicago, Illinois? Is there a bureau or something like for lawyers, you can write the ARDC? I am seeing a doctor at Mercy Hospital. Other hospitals will not see me and openly tell me that they refuse patients who did not have their original surgeries with them because they don't want to assume someone else's surgery patients. It has been 2 years since the surgery. Can they even do that for this reason? I want to write someone and complain and also find out what are my rights. It's like, being blackballed in the medical industry. If you are not satisfied with the care you are getting at one hospital, you're stuck with what you got and have to take the mess they ditch out because they know no one else will accept you as a patient. Thankfully, I am extremely passable. By the same token, because of this, when I walk into an emergency room, seeking help; they ask me a series of non-applicable questions (menstrual, are you pregnant?). I am left paralyzed with fear, when it comes to telling them the truth. I KNOW I should tell them, because by not doing so, I am omitting medical history. I am just so afraid of being discriminated against. LOL. You should see me, when they ask me, about doing a pelvic examination. I have to vehemently tell them, my "vaginal" area is fine. LOL. But really, all jokes aside; I want the best care, and I know I am slighting myself; I'm just scared to tell them. Does anyone know of any LGBT friendly places, or anyone have any advice for me? My daughter was dropped off for a visit with me on Oct28 2005 w/flat contusions red/purple in color over back &upper extremity as described by The University of Chicago Childrens Hospital I still have all the paper work from the incident Temp custody was given to me until the judge decided on the criminal case against the mother 9-16-05 an order of protection was ordered against the mother until 12-14-05 The mother was given parenting classes &supervision w/an older adult for 1year She moved 3x before the year was up at the end my baby not the mother was living w/her auntie& a convicted felon charged w/attempted murder in Lansing Illinois w/6other kids a total of 8people in a 2bedroom home. Just recently I have been able to see my baby again the 3rd time in 2yrs I have found that at age7 my child is barely readingShe is failing in school because of few reasons1happens to be her Auntie forgets to take her to school & her 8 or 9yr old cousin who lives there is signing her reading sheets

Help with required surgery cost in Chicago.? My gf was diagnosed with gallstones about 2 months ago. We happened to be near a nice hospital in Chicago at the time (Swedish Covenant Hospital) of the first attack. She is uninsured and was told to schedule an appointment to see one of their specialist to have the surgery. About a month later we go in for a consultation and was told the surgery would cost about 14k which includes his fees and the hospital fee. Since this is needed ASAP I'm thinking we might as well take a hit and just have it done there but I'm still wondering if the cost would be lower outside of Cook County, IL. How do we go about getting this done elsewhere without having the new hospital and Doctors run all the test on her again to diagnose the stones again? We tried going to Cook County and they wouldn't even talk to us without us waiting our turn in the general medical center to see their Doctors. Could I call up random hospital and ask what they charge show them paperwork from Swedish Covenant or will they need to go through the procedures and charges us with extra money again? I'm thinking Lake County might be cheaper. Also would it be possible to the ER during the next attack and ask for an emergency surgery? We just want someone to do it and pretty much let us set up a payment plan.
