Does anyone know any good haunted asylums or places in southern california?

Anybody know of haunted sanitariums or asylums in Florida? Halloween is approaching and its my favorite holiday ! This might sound weird to be wanting to do something like this but i think it would be interesting. I want to go to a REAL haunted sanitarium or asylum. NOT a house or cemetery or anything other "haunted place". Just a haunted hospital. I dont want to drive too far but then again it is a one time chance to go do something like this.

Haunted asylum in California, I can't find the website! Eerie sounds of kids...? I saw the site for this place a few years ago and now can't find it. It has flashlight or no flashlight self-guided tours, the website had the eerie sounds of distant children singing or laughing? Does anyone else find Halloween haunted houses disappointing because they are not easily scared? Haunted houses (the Halloween kind, not real ones) don't scare me. I usually end up laughing at all my friends who are jumping and screaming (gee - is that mean?). There is an incredible story and pictures on this website about a beautiful old hospital that closed down in the 70s and was slowly destroyed by vandals over the years. Information about Insane asylums? I was considering perhaps working at one, but before I consider to much about them I would like to know from people who HAVE worked in them or something close to that. (If you are just joking around, don't post. Seriously.) Is it hard? Do you get people who are really violent towards you? I want to work with people who will be there for a year or more. Anyone know a good place to get haunted house ideas? We're putting on a haunted house for a fundraiser, and we need some ideas. We want to do a maze-type set-up utilizing a hospital/mental asylum lay-out, but would like to get the creative juices flowing. Because, I can't read a calendar...That's why we need ideas now, because we have to plan it and set it up. King, how old are you? Have you ever done anything for others in your short little life? If you want something to do well, you put all your time and energy into it. For your information, we have done this for a number of years, and we need a change. THAT'S why we need ideas now, because we actually have to build everything, plan how to set it up, let all the people involved what their positions will be, get costumes, masks and props. Did you visit a haunted house for Halloween? Where was it? We went to the Niles Haunted House and Scream Park in Michigan. It was really good. There were five attractions including a tractor ride, haunted house, magic show, and an asylum. Abandoned Haunted Buildings in Michigan? I know about the Eloise Asylum but I heard it's hard to get into and I've also heard its not even there anymore. Does anyone know anything about it? Haunted House in Adover NY? In Andover there is a haunted house that was once apartments and before that an insane asylum. I am friends with the family that owns it and they said that when they bought it there was a padded room with blood smeared. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me find information. I have looked but I have not found anything. It is said to be haunted now. I haver seen faces in the window and pictures of ghosts since they appear in photos. My boyfriend and I just watched this movie (AWESOME movie by the way) and I know they called that big huge "thing" they put Mr. Price, and Dr. whatever his name was, in a "Saturation Chamber" but can anybody find actual articles or something about what it really truly was? Should i have any concerns about evil spirts in my new job? Well my new job was just built on the grounds of one of michigans most haunted places....Please hear me out..i work at Toyota Technical Center and this building was just constructed this year.. last year on that property sat an old abandon asylum where its been reported of murders and all that crazy blah stuff..well since its been closed people always use to go up there at night exploring to see if its haunted and its been reported as one of the most haunted places in michigan or whatever..do to what lots of people say they have witnessed...people even use to go up there alllllll the time and do that satanic devil worshiping stuff...ive always had a strange vibe driving pass that place when it was there..that i wouldnt even drive past at night...and its coincidence that i just got hired there at Toyota...now my question is should i have any doubts or be worried about working there..i mean its all new and high tech and cant even tell it use to be an old asylum..cuz its all brand new like all new buildings and soooo high tech.and at any given moment there are 800 busy workers working...should i have any concerns? i mean im strong in my faith and know evil spirts cant mess with me..but i need this job i mean i live in Michigan come on you know how our economy is.lol p.s ive been up there when i was younger at night to explore with friends...and it was crazy

Hey.I got a film question for you! I saw the film ages ago and cant remember its title!Nor much about it!? Its set in a haunted derelict mental asylum and a group of people go in there.One of the females has a camcorder and sees an insane doctor thru it,who tortures the inmates on an operating table.She gets abducted and killed,i think,and her blood trails go across the floor and upto the ceiling.Also,i think a door or some sort of statue holds a spirit of somekind.Near the end of the film,the survivors are in the attic with an evil spirit following them,and encroaching them in its evil presence.Its a quite recent film,and i would like to see it again.Anyone got any ideas as what its called?Sorry its abit sketchy. La Rundel Mental Asylum - Bundoora VIC? I am wanting to know the history behind why the La Rundel Mental Asylum on Plenty Road Bundoora VIC closed down. Apparently it's meant to be haunted.
