How hygenic are our hospitals in mumbai?

Hi, I am very worried about about going to any hospitals in the city. Even If I know a person that comes from the hospital, I try to keep distance from him thinking that I might get some deadly viruses from them. How practical is this situation ie) getting some viruses from a person that have gone to hospital or when we go to hospitals? What are probability of this happening in normal life?
