Has anybody ever sued the USAF for medical malpractice and could share some advice?
I am currently in the USAF and I know that I cant sue the USAF but the medical issue is with my wife and as a civilian I believe that she sue on her own behalf but I an not 100% sure. Also, unsure of the process (I would assume that we would have to find an attorney that specializes in these types of cases). Any guidance would be helpful. Thanks

- That the great thing about Government run medicine. You can't sue them. Great eh?
- yes
- This is just the problem ALL Americans will suffer if Democrats get their version of National Health care. Imagine trying to get the Feds to reverse a hospital error or malpractice? No. You will fail if you even think you have any power to sue the military, which is like suing the US government. It doesn't matter which branch. God help us if national health care is implemented under a new regime!
- Yes, you can sue, but in essence, you are suing the U.S. government. This means that they have the full resources of the taxpayers money to fight you. Do you really think you can get anywhere with this?
- Military dependents can't sue the government either. The government always exempts itself from the 'laws' they place on citizens.
