Can I have Medicaid without a HMO in NYC?

Does anyone know of any doctors or clinics/hospitals in NY (Bronx or Manhattan)that take 'plain' medicaid? If not do you who I should contact to find out? Thanks.

1. Medicaid is for the 65 and older ??,. Can u go to the free clinic? Also ALL hospital MUST take care of you and if you go you will see that they never ask for any information about $$$ up front,.
