How can I get to the VA hospital in Martinez, CA from SFO or OAK?

I need the know the easiest and least expensive ways to do this. Hotels in the area (near VA Martinez hospital) would be really helpful too. I will arrive at the airport, stay one night, go to the VA the next morning, and leave that same evening. Any ideas?

1. i would pick oakland, then ride bart to concord and try to figure something, i don't know, i've never even went to martinez in my whole 15 years living in the bay area bart from sfo is really expensive but even from concord to martinez is pretty far

3. Take BART from SFO or Coliseum( OAK) to North concord, and then CC Bus 108 to VA or Take BART to El Cerrito Del Notre and then Bus 30X to martinez VA. Total trip takes 1 hr 30 min, and the fare is around $5 to $7.
4. from oakland you can take the capital corridor train by Amtrak right to martinez. then take a cab or bus to the VA Hospital. From San Francisco, i believe you can board a bus to amtrak at the ferry building, which takes you to emeryville and then board capital corrior train there. from emeryville it is three stops and from oakland it is 4 - 5 stops depending on where you board. should be approximately $30 roundtrip.
