Medical Malpractice

Is the VA hospital like a health plan or used more as an urgent care facility? Are there policy numbers?

I don't understand how the whole thing works, except you are eligible for some kind of care after you are discharged from the military? Is the VA hospital like the military version of Blue Cross?

1. No, the VA hospital is a Veteran care system for all Vets, and no policy. Whether you have to co-pay is based on your income. They are doing some overhauling right now so something may change. I hope to the betterment of the Vets.
