How did Obama and his wife earn $7,000,000 last year when he was a US Senator and she a salaried lawyer for UI

He earns $180,000 per year as a Senator and she earns $300,000+ as a lawyer for the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago. Am I much worse at math than I thought or is there something rotten in Denmark?. That leaves $6.500,000 unexplained.

The previous year their combined income was under a million dollars, which also included book sales. It's really not hard to find this information online -- you might want to double-check your facts before you post.

9. A lot of the corruption you see is perfectly legal, or can't be proved otherwise. Michelle got a 100% pay raise when Barrack started running well for the democrat nomination, do you think that was based on qualifications ... it was about connections to a probable first family and the value that brings with it. The books are based on value derived from political office, which is called illegal for some like Newt Gingrich because he is a republican, but is ok for Hillary, Gore, and others because they are democrats. Bill Clinton filled the dept of justice with democrat activists, how do you think Resco got busted after all this time getting away with it in Chicago for decades where that is how business is done and if you are "in" you are never investigated? Clinton loyalists going after him because Barrack could be tied to Resco is how. Government is the largest most corrupt business there is, and it's so corrupt that most who engage in this corruption never have a problem. The most corrupt get away scott free because they will corrupt the justice system as the Clintons did and got away with all kinds of crimes much worse than those others have gotten in hot water over.
