I do not understand how universities hospitals are known to be the best?

I was at university of Chicago today. There where 30 people waiting ahead of me. So, the wait time was more than 8 hours, so I left. Most of the staff was rude and talked ghetto. The building looked like a piece of shit and not in the best neighborhood. I like the hospitals in the subarbs better.

1. I am sorry that you had such a terrible experience and did not get the attention and help you needed. Please go somewhere else and get help. Hospitals are ranked by their research very heavily. They are supported, in large part, by grants from the federal government. Patients do have rights, however, and should be treated with respect, dignity, and in a timely manner. Take care and stay healthy.
