Anyplace that has a list of abandoned prisons/asylums or hospitals?

I know there are alot of Urbexing/Infiltration sites out there but I was looking for a database of locations for research specifically looking for prisons or asylums. Places people were held essentially against there will for a research project. Anyone know a place that lists these abandoned buildings(preferably North America)?

It's a Youtube video showing pictures of an abandoned asylum, and I just thought it was interesting enough to mention. This is a great question. I have no idea what your purpose is, but it fascinates me. ;)
