2. SESSION 9 was filmed at Danvers State Mental Hospital, just outside Boston. Another horror movie that was filmed at an asylum is DEATH TUNNEL. They used Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky. .

6. "Girl, Interrupted" was filmed at the Harrisburg State Hospital here in Harrisburg, PA. The mental institution closed many of its buildings years ago, so the film company chose it as an authentic location to shoot in.
