I want to have a VBAC, do u know of an NYC hospital that will support me?

My first born was c-section 9 yrs ago. I want to find a doctor that will be supportive in having a vaginal delivery for my next born. A lot of NYC hospitals have banned VBAC. Anyone know of where I can go?

1. Are you willing to come to Long Island? I live in Suffolk County and I know Good Samaritan Hospital (in West Islip) will do it, as long as you find a doctor that will. I didn't hear about the Vbac ban in NYC hospitals, did you talk to your doctor about it? You might want to call around to a few OB/GYN's offices to see if they do Vbac, if you don't want to travel and find a doctor on LI.
2. I would look up OB's in your area, that will do a VBAC. A lot of doctors are against them because of the risks that are involved. Alot of doctors are not comfortable, and they do know what's best for your body. I wanted to do VBAC with my second son, and ended up with another Csection anyways. So I guess it depends on the reason you had the Csection in the first place.
