How can I find out which hospitals offer water birth?

I would like to have a water birth in a birthing tub and I was wondering if there was a website that had a list of hospitals that offered water birthing or an easier way to find hospitals in my area that offer it because I have not found anything on local hospital websites about it.

1. You have to call them, unless your Dr. knows.
2. If you live in Ga North Fulton Regional offers water birth. Just google it and the state you live in. Like Water Birth New Jersey. That should pulls something up. Also google birthing centers and your state. Birthing centers usually offer the option.

NURSEI am assuming that you have already discussed this option with your midwife-nursing practitioner. you don't state if this is your first birth.The reason being that due to any unforseen complications, ie:HYPERTENSION FLUCTUATIONS[high blood pressure] RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS[babies breathing] OR ANY ADDED MEDICAL HISTORY. this may prevent you from having a water birth.sorry for putting a downside picture to your joyful event but your health and babies is paramount in every circumstance.Having said that and youv'e got the all clear you should be able to look up hospitals that offer this service and discuss with your health provider.GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY THE NEW ARRIVAL.
