Benefits To Asylum Seekers?
I heard sometime ago and read this last week.... An asylum seeker or or somebody who has been granted asylum can get benefits from the state in the UK. Now this bit I need an answer to... Also an Asylum Seeker or someone who has just been granted asylum can arrange for their loved ones (family) to get English benefits sent to them in their home country? Is this true or have i misread this. Thanks

- If thats so... I am going to apply for one.
- Not really. If you are an Immigrant then you may get benefits for your family. I.e if you are claiming child benefit then your child does not have to be in this country to receive them, they could still be back home. The same is for child tax credits and any other government system. As long as you qualify then it doesn't matter where the other person is. I believe this is only for EU country's but I could be wrong.
