Are there any hospitals or birthing centers in Chicago, Il that will allow you to labor and deliver in water?

I am pregnant and I told my midwife I wanted a water birth, however I was told I could labor in water but not deliver, this isn't what I had in mind... I want to labor and deliver is there a way?

1. There is no reason why you can't labor and deliver in water. I would look for another midwife if this is what you really want.
2. I'd call around about that. Tell your midwife what you want to do... It's your birth experience! Insist on what you want... Even if that means finding another midwife to accomplish that. I went through 3 different doctors until I found the right one to see through my recent pregnancy. Good luck!
