Why Does Michelles Hospital In Chicago Charge The Patients 3x's More Then The Average Hospital Does?

For uninsured patients Chicago hospital charges 3 Times more for care than most other hospitals in the Country, its supposed to be a non -profit hospital but they made over 10 million dollars in profits in a year. 7. All hospitals pad the bills of the uninsured. They know that they will never collect these monies, but when it comes tax time, they can write off bigger loses that way. I'm an RN, and I know that the hospitals where I've worked do this too. The University of Chicago Hospital has been singled out because of Michelle Obama's employment there, but she is no more responsible for this practice than I was when I worked at ________. The "profit" that NFP hospitals make is put right back into new equipment and new building programs. Otherwise, they cannot maintain their NFP status.
8. Can you understand scale? i was in my hometown Akron, Ohio and my friends couldn't understand Chicago. If the ceiling is Oprah at 4 or 5 billion. Then maybe me and my wife could be easily worth 2 or 3 million. they're trying to bring down Oprah, not me. The ceiling is what in a small town? No one where i live would think that Obama has an expensive fine home. no one where i live would even consider moving to Tinley Park. Before his book, i might be worth way more than Obama. So isn't it all relative? Do they have a Rolls Royce dealership in your neighborhood? The University of Chicago Hospital was rated one of the top ten hospitals in the country by Time magazine. You can check it out. So in order to do research, to provide care and services way beyond anything in almost any city in the country the Hospital is compensated at a a level that would support these efforts. Obama's house is in the 100's. on the South side. He can't even see the Sears Tower. Tinley Park is nothing. On my street in a gated downtown community, i can see the Sears Tower from my den. i have a hydro therapy tub on the roof, I can see the entire skyline. Hancock Building. i live right by the Merchandise Mart. But you're response proves my point. That Chicago is beyond most people who live in small towns comprehension. Check the stats The University of Chicago Hospital is one of the finest hospitals in the country. they just open up a new children's hospital. Rich in Chicago is like 10 million. Obama ain't there. Rev Wright; please. Soon i will be very wealthy for Akron, Ohio not Chicago. Everything here is three times the national average. My neighborhood is River North. You can probably go on line a get an overview. It's one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Chicago. rich in Chicago; is from Downtown north along the lakefront. Gold Coast, old money, Evanston, Northwestern large homes, Winnetka, Wilmette, Northbrook, Lake Forest and Schaumburg. No place on the southside or south suburbs is on the list. My friend taught me the stock market. he's like Father Flegler. He's white but he's married to a black woman who's a doctor. They have been going to St Sabinas for over a decade. They drive from the North side. He's rich Chicago style. He's worth at least 10 million. My wife makes twice what Michele makes at Rush University Hospital. We all vacation in Hawaii during the winter months. The 100's on the south side is what is called "Pill Hill" it's was were black doctors used to live. TUCC is on 95th Street. Obama represented the black people in this district in the state house. he does not live in Hyde Park. But again, everyone in Chicago knows it's downtown and north along the lakefront to the northern suburbs. No place on the South side is considered disireable.
