what is the starting pay for a lpn?

I live in pomeroy, ohio. I am going to college for a lpn. How many days a week do they work? iheard they work 3 days 12 hour shifts. can you work a extra day or two if you want more money? Also I will be working around pomeroy, gallipolis, or the athens area. Anyone know the starting pay(nursing home or home health not hospital) Also in ohio are lpns allowed to do IV's? Please answer the extra pay and salary question! Thanks!

1. You can look up the pay for your area on salary.com Lpn's can work a lot of OT in most areas. Try going to allnurses.com and do a search for these answers.
