How much would medical malpractice insurance be for an Anesthesiologist who would be practicing Pain Management in Central New Jersey Area?

  1. A LOT. Pain management is a scary practice to be in if you are prescribing narcotics for chronic pain management. Your malpractice insurance is going to go WAY up if that is your field. Consult a lawyer.
  2. Probably a lot. The best way to find out is call an insurance company or look on the internet for rates.
  3. Best to get bids. Anesthesiology is a very liable area. Best if you check with other MD's in the work place on their coverage.
