Are there any abandoned insane asylums in North Carolina?

Part 1) Are there any abandoned insane asylums located in North Carolina that are open for touring? I have this weird fascination for insane asylums. I guess it's cause the treatment didn't work and so many lives were lost. I know they are scary, but I am mesmerized. So are there any? Can you also give me links to pictures and or a website of the asylum?

1. There is a old youth facility called the Stonewall Jackson School in Concord (near Charlotte). It's not open to the public. There are signs saying not to drive on the grounds, but we did and even got out and look in the windows. No one paid any attention to us. There are several victorian looking homes that the boys lived in, they are falling apart. The history of the school is very limited but I do know that juvenile delinquents, orphans, etc were housed there. There were even forced sterilizations done to some of the students. It definitely has a creepy feeling to it.
