  1. The Haunted Forest Go to the 210 freeway in Pasadena. Turn north on Lake Ave, then go to the top of Lake. The road turns 90 degrees to the left, but the trail goes to the right. It's really just a Angeles National Forest, with hiking trails. It's not a FOREST. There aren’t forests in this chaparral ecosystem. It's a trail into the mountain. The “asylum” is at the top, but it’s a 5.7 mile hike round trip. It was once the Echo Mountain resort, but you know how urban legends go… http://hikertechnologies.com/echomttn.htm Gravity Hill Gravity hill, isn't a large one or a very "spooky" one. From the 210 in Pasadena, go North on Lake Avenue Turn right On Altadena Drive Turn left on Porter Go to the Top Of Porter Turn Left on Loma Alta. Travel over a few dips, and around a corner. Go up the hill. Right around Sunnyoaks Circle is where it is. If you put your car in neutral, you may seem to go “up” the hill. But if you bring a level, you’ll see that it’s an optical illusion. You can have a lot of fun with it, and tell your friends that this was caused by a bus that crashed, and the victims are the ones doing the pushing. Or maybe that it’s dead inmates from “they asylum”. I recommend doing some recon by day, because it’s awfully hard to find at night.
