Why does it seem like medical dramas are more popular then law dramas?
Why are medical dramas more popular than law shows? I mean, ask someone if they know who House is, or any character from Grey's Anatomy, and they'll say everything they know about it! Ask him if he knows who Exec. Assistant District Attorney Michael Cutter and Assistant District Attorney Connie Rubirosa are, and they'll scratch their head and say, "Huh?"

- This might have to do with the fact that Medical people are seen to be more interesting then law people and Medical people are considered "good "where law people are "evil" Example Medical Doctor runs around saving people, Good Example Law Lawyer helps with some crazy lawsuit for coffee being hot, so people will sooner tune out a show with Lawyers It also might have to do with the fact that medical work is considered faster then law which might be dragged out for months to years on end.
- Hotter men!
- I don't think medical dramas are more popular. I think the medical dramas are more about the main characters on the show. The law dramas are more about the clients. That's my opinion. For example, on ER or Grey's Anatomy, we are constantly shown the personal issues of the doctors. On the Law & Order shows, we rarely see the characters at home with their problems. So, it's not exactly more popular...the characters' personal lives are just shown more.
