What is a good example of a BAD Medical Malpractice Case?

I am writing an essay and I need two examples of BAD medical malpractice cases to take to court. Any ideas?

I know of several people who have cases now 1 Had surgery and the doctor left a piece of the gouges bandage in when he stitched her back up and it caused a horrible infection and she had to have another surgery to remove it. 2 She had surgery to remover her appendix and the doctor cut the colon and it was leaking stool out in her intestines and caused an infection and horribly painful and required a more serious surgery to repair the damage 3 The hospital sent a patient home and said it was a virus the person died within hours and the hospital didn't find the problem it was his heart and they didn't even do any test for the chest pains 4 There was one a few yrs back where a man was suppose to have surgery to be circumcised and they cut it off instead.
4. My dad a physician for many many years saw a patient for a chest cold, he gave her antibiotics and sent her home. About years later she died of renal failure, and her parents sued my dad for malpractice, and he only saw her once for a chect cold, they felt he could have prevented it. But her condition was sudden acute not chronic.
