what do you think is the most overpayed job?and the most underpayed?

overpayed - football even though i love the game i think money has spoilt it in the last 15 years. underpayed - hospital staff i know a lot of hospital staff don't get payed much and work long hours, hca's and carers etc.. i always remember breaking my elbow and having to spend a week in hospital, the care i got was brilliant. so i hold hospital staff in the highest regard.

1. Footballers and blue chip chairmen and CEOs are all extremely overpaid. Most junior-level public sector jobs are underpaid but I think anyone who cleans (streets, shops, toilets, hospitals whatever) whether employed through the public or private sector is grossly underpaid. I couldn't do that job, let alone do it for minimum wage.
2. overpayed- Cheeky bastard chairmans of Banks. underpayed- Fire fighters, soldiers.
3. Being a Banker, they all have not a clue what they are doing and get paid so well for doing nothing.We the rest of the public are the worst paid because the greedy Bankers are taking it all.
4. i think actors are definitely overpaid. how much skill does it really take to pretend that youre someone else? it boggles my mind. the most underpaid are probably all construction workers. yes, alot of them are ex-cons but some of them are nice people who want to make a living and theyre getting paid next to nothing for building essential parts of cities that none of us could get by without.
5. Overpaid - Useless and incompetent hollywood stars and other assorted celebrities. They are paid for nothing more than their 'looks', which the media is constantly trying to convince us that they have. Underpaid - Policemen, 100%
6. Most overpaid - actor/actress Most underpaid - CNA, nurse I am a CNA and I work very hard for little money. I am also asked to work overtime a lot and have to work weekends a lot. When people don't show up I have to work double shifts. I do like my job, but when you deal with so many personalities and always have to be nice, no matter what, it's very stressful. I am glad someone out there appreciates medical staff.
7. Overpaid: Celebrites, Athletes, Lawyers, Decorative Designers/Planners, and Doctors, (let me explain my choice; hospital staff, like nurses, janitors, receptionists, caregivers, etc., are all underpaid. Doctors, while an extremely noble profession and deservedly worth a lot of money, are paid literally millions of dollars.) Underpaid: Teachers, Maids/Janitors, Waitresses, Hospital staff/Nurses, Military personnel, Daycare and Nursing Home Caregivers, Fast Food workers.
8. Athletes and entertainers are definitely overpaid. Paramedics, firefighters, nurses, and teachers are underpaid.
9. Underpaid - Social Workers Overpaid? - just about every position out there. Robots & Computers are eventually going to replace human jobs. Will they be under or overpaid? Medical positions might stick around but then again they say they are coming out with technology that will know your thoughts. Imagine that.
10. Celebs, and sports players are way overpaid. It seems that our society cares more for entertainment, then anything else. Medical professionals are grossly underpaid for what we do. I am a medical technologist. My field is probably the lowest paid profession in medicine, next to the janitors.
11. hmmm - overpaid- these morons that run our country and get us into serious debt!! Im Irish and our budget is being released today - I cant wait to see the extras ill be paying for in my tax etc! Underpaid? hmmmmm I guess Id agree with you on the hospital staff... just a few though - doctors over here are bloody well paid! xx
