How long does it take to receive an answer from the VA hospital (veterans affairs) regarding RN employment.?

I recently interviewed at the VA hospital in Hampton, VA for an RN position. I was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes to receive a yes or no. Any help or personal experiences would be helpful. I don't actually know anyone that works at the VA. thank you Anie for asking your mom for me...I really want and need this job.

1. *7/11/2009* - Mother says 2-3 weeks... Also bear in mind since this is a federal agency there may be a slew of chains that your information passes through. And it is vacation-ish time, so the person who may make the decision may be out. I will keep you in my prayers and I pray that you get this position!
