Medical Malpractice

Will 0bama's Gov't Hospitals be as poorly run as the government's VA hospitals have been for past few decades?

Veterans have dreaded VA hospitals and have often seen them as a last resort.

  1. Exactly the same.
  2. Yes, check out a Boston hospital suing the state because of their state run healthcare. They are also dropping a lot of LEGAL immigrants on the plan to cut costs.
  3. Yes and they will give health coverage for as many people as medicaid covers now...
  4. In all fairness, probably not. The problem with the VA hospitals was that they weren't funded. I don't think anyone believes Obama's government hospitals/DNC satellite offices won't be funded.
  5. Let's use some of that military budget to pay for healthcare for our veterans!!
  6. VA hospitals used to be well run until we started cutting their funding in 2003. I do not think it was Obama or any Democrats doing that. Seems like the republicans were pretty much running everything in 2003.
  7. Worse. That will be like having a shoe repairman maintaining the AC on a Cruise Ship.
  8. given that 20 of the last 28 years had a republican in the whitehouse, I would conclude that Reaganomics is unhealthy
  9. You clearly do not understand the health care plan Obama would like to see pass.
  10. Worse. The VA hospitals will seem like the high-price spread in comparison.
  11. You mean the ones republicans have been underfunding to keep unrealistic unnecessary weapons programs running?
  12. Obama's plan will not start out with the government taking over hospitals. But I suspect the plans will make the business less and less profitable. The end result would be that there would be a shortage of hospitals and government hospitals would be needed to fill the void. (the government causes the problem, then tries to fix the problem by doing more of what caused the problem to begin with.) But if that happens, then, yes. The hospitals would be just like the VA hospitals.
