Which NYC hospital did you give birth in?

Please tell me if you recommend it or not.

I gave Birth at Wyckoff Heights Hospital In Brooklyn Ny. My 3 children were born there in 98, 01 and 04. Everyone was nice. It was clean. I had no problems.
I'm not from nyc but I figure your trying to find the best hospital. You can call labor and delivery o each hospital and ask I you can go in and take a tour, look around. I there is a room they will show it to you. This way you can get an idea and maybe meet some of the nurses. That's what I did and I pretty much new were I wanted to go just by phone manners. The nurse I talked to was so sweet answered all my questions and told me to feel free to call back if I had more. Plus told me I could go in and look around and see a room if they had one open.
We'll be giving birth any day now (here in NYC). We chose St Luke's Roosevelt. I wanted to use the birthing center there but we risked out since the baby is so overdue... :( They have lots of options for making sure that your birthing experience is tailor-made as close to what you want as possible. Their maternal and fetal statistics are also some of the best around. I spent some time in regular L and D at about 4 months because of some complications earlier in the pregnancy and both the staff and hospital itself were really great.
