What do you think would really happen if all inmates from all prisons & asylums were suddenly released?

- I'd have an easier time buying drugs that's for sure! (Kidding for those that don't know a joke when they see it)
- Violence, I can't say much but it's a bad world! I mean it!
- The former Inmates, would continue their crimes. Murderer's would murder, Felons would steal, etc. Mass bedlam for the innocent in society.
- i would lock up my doors and hide under my bed in a puddle of my own excrement.
- I'm not afraid of them because I have halo to shield me from harm something will happen to them before they can get to me my prayers works every time
- afraid to even contemplate that notion! hope it will never happen in our lifetimes!
- Crime would take a big jump upward. I'm sure that there would be plenty of felons who would want to start new if they were given the chance. But they wouldn't get that chance. Our economy is horrible. In my state, our unemployment is almost 12% and in my city it's almost 14% and rising. Everyone is looking for work but businesses are closing up every week. A felon doesn't have a chance of even getting a minimum wage job--heck, even non-felons are having trouble finding minimum wage jobs. My state doesn't give welfare to able-bodied people who don't have children. The felons would be stuck with nowhere to go. They might try to stay with family members but most people are already struggling to make ends meet. The marginal people from the asylums would fare better because they'd have SSDI to support them financially and a case worker would be needed for supervision. The really insane would never be productive to society and would be a danger to themselves and/or others. Law-abiding citizens would go into hiding for safety.
- A lot of americans would start using their right to bare arms. Have you ever seen 'Back to the Future part II' that's what the world would be like.
