When do students actually go out into the hospitals and work in nursing schools?
I plan to attend a nursing school in southern california but i wanted to know when exactly do you go out and go to the hospitals for clinicals and work and learn there.

- As a high school student, you can work as a volunteer as a "candy striper" at the hospital. Most hospitals offer this, so if you're in high school go check it out!~ I think there is also volunteer opportuninties for people people who graduate high school. I say start with volunteering first, and they'll see your dedication and who knows, maybe land you a job there eventually :) It is a good opportunity to get to know the hospital and the people working in it!
- At our school we start clinicals our sophomore year. We usually have them twice a week.
