Do you support revoking medicare, the VA, and public hospitals to foster better competition?

Is it disrespectful for private companies to make a profit by caring for wounded soldiers. Maybe the government can bow out of care, and the private sector can treat soldiers for free as a show of support.

1. Do you mean medicare and the VA? Have you ever been to a VA hospital? I have in D.C. Anytime there is competition I see two things happen - the quality of the goods or services improves and the price drops. Tell us how the quality of Medicare or the VA is ever going to improve under a Government run system -- were waiting.....................
2. No.. What competition? The Rich vs Poor for a healthy life? If you are Poor, or have served your country fighting for freedom.You die .If your sick, or have health problems, and you depend on the Government to take care of you. Even though life saving medical procedures and medications are available to those who can afford it. If your poor, you can not afford these and NO ONE is going to pay for them. If your Rich. You live. Because you can afford the best of the best technologically advanced medical care, that science can provide. Insurance companies nor the Government really give a crap.. To them you are just a number.
