What is the maternity ward of University of Chicago Hospital like?

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and found out that I will have to give birth at university of chicago due to complications. I have no clue what the birthing rooms are like there. I had planned to go to Good Shepard in Barrington, where they give you a special dinner, the rooms are beautiful, but I'm afraid U of C is not going to even come close. Please give me some perspective. in 2005, I spent 3 months in U of C, but I've never been to any maternity ward or nursery and I wanted calm and peaceful during this trying time. BTW yes there are some good hospitals other than UC but my little bean needs the best and my surgeon is there so I'm kinda stuck. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

1. Call them and schedule an appointment to take a tour of their facility. That will probably be your best bet.
