Insane Asylums?
Why did Insane Asylums get taken away? Like why aren't there anymore around and only psych wards in hospitals and jails?

- Probably unethical treatment. I mean if you think about it, people weren't being diagnosed as frequesntly with autism and things like that so they were really locking away people who weren't crazy and beating and mistreating people who didn't even understand why they were there or what they did wrong. Now if the are in hospitals aand jails then they can be treated and house instead of just housed. That's my theory.
- Oh no, no, no...They are out there...I know of people that have worked at them....they are just not talked about much...I'm sure if you did some research, you might be suprised at what you find.... Try Google, I haven't, but I'm not curious either... Good Luck... I think that they are possibly in the un talked about area of the psych ward...just a guess tho....
- The reason being is that our Society at that time was losers and the Doctors had no knowledge of Mental Health Issues. Over 80% of people were miss diagnosed and sent off to Institutions. We have come along way!!!!
