Can anyone tell me the law for reopening a closed medical malpractice case in ohio?

How long do you have to reopen a medical malpractice case in OH, if new evidence is presented? Can you do it any time? Are there stipulations? Thank you very much!

1. why would it be a law? if the case has been settled you can't reopen it
2. It depends on how it was closed. For instance, if it was dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be brought again. If it was dismissed without prejudice, it must be brought within the original statutory period. If it was settled and releases signed, it cannot be brought again.
