Are girls wanting to go to law school or medical school "better people" in general? are better for dating?
So are girls who want to go onto law or medical school more independent and less selfish in general? Meaning, they're willing to work hard and go through all this trouble of getting 3 degrees just so they can make money for themselves, instead of picking up an easy job and hoping to marry a guy who will take care of the rest? My parents told me to avoid ambitious girls while other people have said that ambitious girls are hard working and they don't have the "depend on husband" mentality. Your opinions?

- My opinion is... your parents are sexist. Seriously, would you want to grow up and get married to a woman who mooches and is financially dependent on you?
- i plan on going to law school, so i don't know if that makes me "better" or not...But I still have plans on getting married.. College is work all together... As long as my future husband is happy with his job, i'm happy too.
- I think it depends on what you want in a girl. You have to take the good with the bad too though. Usually really independent girls are good because they don't need your money and can take care of themselves (and maybe you), and they will probably have married you for you, and not your wealth, status, etc. However, these girls can take the whole wearing the pants thing too far and not need you for ANYTHING, which is bad for your ego I'm sure. On the opposite end, girls who do need you to provide income and security will probably not ever leave you, even if you don't treat them well. But unfortunately, money may the the reason they are staying with you. Where else would they go? That being said though, there are girls out there who are independent and ambitious, yet they couldn't live without you. I wish you luck in finding one of those girls.
