What do you have to do for Radiographers Programs at Hospitals in Michigan?

What do you have to do for Radiographers Programs at Hospitals in Michigan? Right now, I am going to a community college and is planning to transfer to wayne state university for there 4 yr radiologist program (BS). But I would like to finish faster and start working. Do you have to have to take certain classes before joining the program or can you just join it without any educational requirement? What do you have to do to join it? Any prior requirements to get into it? Salary?

  1. It's not a "radiologist" program... radiologists are doctors. Accredited programs do have prerequisites - you have to check with them to find out what they are. Hospital programs are 40 hours per week for 2 years - there is no faster way to do it. Radiography programs are very competitive. You might not even get in. You can find Wayne's admission requirements and other information here: http://cphs.wayne.edu/program/rt-bs.php Average starting salary in southeast Michigan is $18-$20/hour.
