Why did Michelle formerly work at ?
If Michelle Obama is for reduced health care costs + universal health care .....why did Michelle formerly work at the University of Chicago Hospital where her job consisted of negotiating higher health insurance benefit rates for the Hospital + being instrumental in establishing a policy where the Hospital became one of the first area Hospitals to deny care to any uninsured private pay patients ? Why did Michelle Obama receive over a $ 125,000 raise from the University of Chicago Hospital shortly after then Senator Obama obtained a grant of $ 250,000 for the Hospital ? On August 23, 2008 the Chicago Sun Times ran an article reporting how Michelle Obama had directed uninsured poor patients away from the University of Chicago Hospital where she worked at her $ 317,000 per year job to other facilities

- Don't you mean where? Once again a Republican so fast with the key board and trash, they forget to think. Do you have a link to that? Please no right wing blog site either.
- because her husband wasnt the president yet
- she is worth around 500,000,000 right now so I doubt she is really out to make money
- It was a faux job, she seldom even went to work which was another scandle hushed up by the the Richard Dailey Jr. and Rahm Emmanuel machine,! All 0bama is is the face, Michelle is the brains and both are as corrupt ad the day is long. His and her job was/is to enlist black support for the machine
- Somehow I really thought Republicans would be all for a hospital denying care to people without health insurance, since of course it's usually illegal immigrants and people to lazy to work hard enough to afford health insurance who just want to suck the system dry. You provide no proof of what you claim, so...
- She didn't and she didn't. Her job consisted of dealing with community issues only: "My goal in this position," Obama said, "is to continue to broaden the Hospitals' relationships with our neighborhood and with our city. We have an obligation to ensure that we use our resources on behalf of our neighborhood and our city. In this new role, my goal is to better integrate community engagement into the culture of this institution.
