Medical Malpractice

Hospitals are closing in the NYC area. I thought medicine was a stable field.Where will thse nurses & MDs go?

2. This is what happens in your crappy american system when medi-care is profit driven business.
3. i wouldn't worry, they are in demand.
4. We all pay for national health whether you think so or not. Either out of our pockets or closing them for lack of money. Which payment do you choose?
5. You can thank the illegals, medicare, and medicaid recipients for this. It will only get worse as the universal healthcare package is approved?
6. Into private practice. Plenty of jobs for every MD and RN in the country. Many parts of the country have a shortage of both doctors and nurses.

8. They'll go wherever they want. My wife graduates in May with her bachelor's in nursing, and she already has 6 job offers. She's going to make as much, straight out of college, as I do with a master's in chemical engineering and 5 years experience. There is a projected shortage of registered nurses until 2019, and doctors could travel to the moon and find a job. I doubt any of them are worried.
