is it possible to go to law school and medical school for orthopedics at the same time?
If not, how could I attend both? Is it possible to attend law school medical school and during my residency? Only serious answers please. Thank you!

- A number of schools offer combined MD/JD programs. You can use Google to find them. Graduates often pursue careers in malpractice law. You would not start to specialize in orthopedic surgery until residency. You will probably not have time for anything else during residency.
- You cannot attend law school during medical school or during your residency. All of these programs take more than seventy hours a week. Some physicians attend law school part time in the evenings after they have established their practices. Most full time law schools and virtually all medical schools and residency programs prohibit concurrent enrollment. Joint MD/JD programs almost always provide for the MD and JD portions to be studied in different years, not concurrently. Usually there are two years of medical school, three years of law school and two year of clinical training to finish medical school. Often the student must be admitted separately to the JD and MD programs at the university.
