Republicans want to privatize VA Hospitals, who would this effect the most?

Vet's currently have a private option. I don't have to go to the VA hospital just because I am a Vet. Actually Tic Toc I spend a lot of time in VA hospitals I have traveled throughout the country to visit wounded Vets and thank them for their service.

1. It is not just the hospitals. They want to make it private insurance that we pay for even for service related disabilities. Republicans were always good about buying us toys on active duty but they are always trying to cut benefits for Veterans. Bush was always proposing cuts for us even while he was sending us to two wars. @TIC TOC I have been in one. I go to one every few months. They do take good care of us, and what the Republicans want to do s4it can us. They want us completely off of the Federal Budget. @Logical It is not an option they are proposing.

The big corps would be their lobbyist friends who would be awarded $$$ to do so, it would affect the rich, making them richer, the cost would increase for taxpayers and the quality of care would decrease. Foreigners and criminals would be hired to work there for no benefits and low wages. Current workers would lose their jobs.

5. A republican wants to give a private option to veterans instead of only offering the VA hospital. I hope it turns out as so because our veterans deserve the best.
6. Have you ever been inside a VA hospital... No you have not and please do me a favor before you speak about things you know nothing about. Visit one and tell me the government is doing a great job at caring for our wounded soldiers. If you have spent time in a VA Hospital you would have a completely different take unless your one of these people who take trips and vacations on the tax payers money. You sound like a typical political hack.
7. Really, do tell ? You don't happen to have any proof of that claim do you ? As to the postyer who said republicans try to cut VA benefits. The largest expansion of VA benfits ever, occured while Bush was President. Bush literally double VA funding in his 8 years in office, that after Clinton only increased VA funding 23% over 8 years. Military compensation increased 84% during the Bush administration. Bush gave veterans the right for the first time, to collect military retirement pay and VA disability at the same time.
8. I wish the government would private everything, to many lazy bums drawing pay checks for doing nil in government jobs.
9. The Veterans would be the ones who suffer.
