Chicago...Can someone give me some good orthopedic surgeons for knee replacement?

I am a candidate for knee replacement. There are so many good doctors and hospitals to choose from! I was going to a orthopedic surgeon at Rush but he moved. So, I was wondering if anyone had some good experience with knee surgery in Chicago and the Hospital and doctor. Also please share bad experience and where to avoid too.

  1. I had knee replacement at Loyola about 5 yrs ago. I am not 100% happy with results for a couple reasons and the surgeon has moved on so I can't recommend a surgeon there. I went to the surgeon's replacement but he was an older MD who seemed to be there on a temporary basis. I wasn't impressed. I left Loyola for that and other serious reasons. I am now with Rush and am seeing Dr Weber. She is an orthopedic MD but not a surgeon. She has had surgery on her joints. I asked who the orthopedic MD goes to for her surgery. I'm pretty sure she said Brian Cole. Below is the list of orthopedic MDs at Rush. I was under the care of Dr Andrew Bunta for about 5 years. I would have had my surgery done by him but I dropped Northwestern because of insurance issues.
