What are government funded hospitals in Chicago besides Cook County? I heard it's horrible. How do payments?

1. The care is not horrible. Cook County actually has some of the best doctors in the nation. Now the wait time can be horrible, it is not uncommon to wait for 5 hours at times. It is a government hospital so the wait time is going to be long no matter what. Payments? it all depends on your income,age, and health problems, procedures. It can be free if you don't make much. They also built a new building a few years back, so its actually pretty nice inside.
