Medical Malpractice

Politicians forced to use VA hospitals? Would you support a law like this?

If politicians were forced to use VA hospitals when they need medical treatment, you think there will still be rote and rats in them? Would you support this legislation? Thank you Pink, I think I love you. I'm not used to nice answers, but so far thank you all for all the BEST answers. Not Kidding You may see me on the news, Because I'm serious as hell about this one. I've heard for 30 years complaints and there should be 0 complaints when considering our veterans.

  1. To be honest, I don't think ANYONE should be forced to use VA hospitals. Or any specific hospital, for that matter. I think everyone should at least have a choice of 2-3 places to go. You do have a point, though. If politicians were forced to live in the conditions that their constituents did, a lot of problems would go away very quickly.
  2. ROFLMAO where do I vote on this issue? Who do I call?! That's the best idea I've seen in a long time. While we're at it, let's see if Barbara Bush spends any time in a Texas convalescent home if things would change then!! This was today's best question!
  3. You bet your sweet azz
  4. Yes, if they are veterans. If they are not veterans, they should not have health care paid by us--they can buy their own or come up with a way so the average American can afford health care. And they should also have only Social Security pension benefits from the time they are in office.
  5. Yes, but it would never happen-they always exempt themselves from their own, stupid, laws.
  6. I dont really care about which hospital i go to so long as i get the treatment i need. You dot go to the hospital for a regular check up, it's for emergencies only!
  7. If politicians were forced to use VA hospitals I doubt if the tax payers could afford to keep them open. The politicians would provide so many perks the cost would be astronomical. The rooms would be two bedroom suites so they would have a place for a guest or political intern.
  8. They already do. The Presidents are required to undergo medical checkups at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Additionally Senators and congressmen and other federal officials are treated there. You might wish to RESEARCH a question before you ask it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bethesda_Naval_Medical_Center
  9. You know, that's a really good idea. I think I'll write my legislators and suggst it.
