Veterans need more then one cent a mile to the VA hospitals?

The Senators get health care,medical for themselves and thier familel,vacation and good travel pay and chaufferd around but the VETERAN gets only 11 cents a mile to VA hospitals with the first 50 miles taken back along with the first $8.00 and the question is why bill S996 is not put on the Senate floor to be voted on? WHY?

4. well i agree they should get more...but a great alternative is the disabled american veteran's van program. it is a free ride to and from the va hospital for any vet. all you have to do is call your nearest dav and they will help you arrange it!
5. Everybody know that veterans give all they have for their country and when they can give no more, they are the one's who get the short end of the stick.
