Are the VA Hospitals socialized health care/Hillary care?

I was flipping through the radio stations earlier and heard that claim,from some guy named rusty. don't recall the last name The guy was claiming that Walter Reed was an example of failed socialized health care and calling it an example of why hillary care won't work.

1. Hillary could influence the health care to vets if she is elected....many democrats don't like the fact that many vets need healthcare and would rather cut it out. Its called giving to the people instead of "giving to the people".
2. Honestly, that's bull. Hillary Clinton (and the other democrats for that matter) have no plans to tamper with the VA system. And honestly, after all the crap in the news about this administration's handling of it, I can't say they've done a better job at it (especially considering they just cut the VA's budget before this). Tampering with the current VA system, aside from improving it/funding it better would be political doom. Rusty's a crock and a half.
3. Rusty, like 99% of those who participate in right wing hate radio, is an ignoramus. VA healthcare is a MODEL of success that is being studied and copied by private healthcare providers. There are always problems in massive systems, but overall care is EXCELLENT, despite GW and the Republotards continually cutting the VA budget. By the way, Walter Reed is an ARMY hospital, not a VA facility.
