any other vietnam vets out there facing bad health care at their VA hospitals?

1. I'm a Vietnam Vet, and my care has been above average.
2. No I have had good care at the Martinsburg VA hospital but I can see that the system is taxed to the max and it will only get worse with the new vets coming in from war. The problem seems to be that meeting the obligation to care for the veterans becomes a political issue and like all political issues it is never resolved because we have lost the ability to reach consensus in this age of political extremism. I know many vets feel that the system is being under funded now because we have a volunteer force and that means that people can avoid service and need for themselves to be treated at a VA facility. So they don't see the immediacy. Its a national shame but not one that can be tied to Bush or Clinton or any other political figure, it has gone on for a long time.
