How to go from medical to law?

Can anyone tell me how do u go from the medical field to the law field, and what jobs should start at?? Want to change my whole career to law, and don't want to go back to school.

  1. If your not willing to go back to school then I'm guessing your not interested in becoming a lawyer. I hate to say it, but I think going back to school and majoring in Criminal Justice or some other Pre-law major would be your best bet. If you attempt to enter the law field without any similar educational experience your options will be limited. You will probably have to start at some entry-level position and work your way up. Try applying for a legal assistant or legal secretary position. There's also the option of entering the social work aspect of law such as being a probation officer or substance abuse counselor. Again, I really think you need to have some law-related education. I have my masters in Criminal Justice and currently work as a research analyst for the state. In my brief expereince, jobs related to the criminal justice/law field require at LEAST a BA or BS in a appropriate major. It is a competitive field and many employees have advance degrees.
