I would like to volunteer in a big company in chicago, il. I know about hospitals and libraries but...?

I want to in a business company or banking. Do they do it? where can i apply?

1. You don't say how old you are. I would suggest, seeing you want to "volunteer" and to save yourself traveling expenses, to go to the nearest bank, or large business and tell them you want to volunteer. I don't know how "banks" are with "volunteers". But a business would probably have no problem. I think it's best to just walk in so they know you are sincere. My daughter did that years ago when she was 13 at a veterinary hospital. She's now a certified vet tech.
2. Places like the Lincoln Park Zoo, Brookfield Zoo, and the Humane Society come to mind. If you are looking to this leading to an apprenticeship, then look into the field that you are interested in furthering your education.
