Medical Malpractice

Could you please pray for my patient?

I helped do a bone marrow biopsy on a patient with brand new diagnosed leukemia this morning. He is 48 yrs old and is very sick and is being sent to the University of Chicago Hospital tonite or early tommorrow AM. He is in dire need of the Lords help. If you believe the Lord answers prayers could you please ask him to help this really nice fella? I think it would be really nice if you could ask for him to be kept comfortable too. He tolerated the biopsy ok, and I know they will probably be doing another one soon. It hurts like crazy. thank you very much for praying for my patient. I appreciate it so much.

  7. I have prayed for your patient. I am also in the medical field and I think you are doing a wonderful thing by asking for prayer for a patient of yours. There is no healing power greater than prayer; I truly believe this. But even if God does not answer these prayers according to our will, He will answer them according to His. We do not know how God will answer our prayers because He answers them according to His plan, which is always for our good, even if we don't see how. Continue being faithful. God Bless You
  8. Yes , I will.
  9. It is good of you to care so. My thoughts shall certainly be with you and with this patient.
  10. I will, and I am happy to see faith! Refreshing!
  11. Yes I will pray.
  12. I just prayed for your patient. May God bless him and bless you for asking for prayers.
  13. I most certainly will pray for your patient. I trust that he is a Christian. For Jesus Christ not only provided a way by his precious blood for us to be saved, but He also provided us a way for us to be healed; and that is by the stripes which He bore on his back. Just believe this, and if your patient does not believe it, you must help him to understand that the stripes which Jesus bore were for our physical healing; not for spiritual healing. Jesus healed people every where that He went, when He was on the earth. And He never changes. He just as much desires for his children to be healed today, as He did in the days of his earthly ministry. I have done much study and research on the matter of healing, and I know that it is most certainly God's perfect will for every one of his children. May God bless you and your patient.

  15. Most Gracious, Heavenly Father - I come before Your throne tonight on behalf of a man that I do not know Lord, but he needs Your healing touch. Father, You know who He is and I just pray that right now Jehovah - Rapha, Our Healer that You reach down and bring a complete healing to this man. Father that You bring all things into alignment, Body, mind and spirit - that they all line up with you. Father I have seen others cured of Leukemia and Father I know that You can do it again - if You so choose. Lord, I pray that You keep him painfree aand focused on You. Father as we hear the good reports Lord we know that all of the praise, honor and the glory for this miracle belongs to You. It is in the sweet, sweet name of Jesus I pray. Amen

  18. Sure I will. I hope he get's well soon! He'll be in my thoughts and prayers. Tell him not to give up, no matter what the results. My Great Aunt had terminal cancer, and was stage 4. They didn't expect her to live. She refused to give in, and is completely cured now. ^_^
  19. I will not. Unfortunately, every scientific study ever done has shown the power of prayer to be at best a non-effect, but in some studies, was shown to be statistically significantly detrimental. Perhaps prayer encourages 'God' to call the patient home. So I will entrust your patient to you and his team of medical professionals and remind you simply of the hypocratic oath: Above all else, do no harm.
  20. Done,God Bless.
  21. I wont... I will try...
  22. Had a friend who lost a daughter to leukemia...i'd be glad to... Loving father.......I pray for a special touch for this man.....sickness and disease are part of the human experience, yet we feel compassion for his pain..........we ask you give the professionals wisdom in his treatment, that there be a respite from his pain......and that he be healed.........we recognize that death comes to all........yet you have done miracles of healing before.....fulfill the purposes for this suffering.....comfort his family and give hope and strength Amen
  23. I'm praying, too. And I thank God for you and the spiritual sensitivity He's given you. "God is able to make all grace abound to you so that at all times, in all things, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." (II Corinthians 9:8) My words are nothing. His Word is everything. Blessings.
  24. Prayer doesn't work. Look at all the millions of people who prayed for the hostages in Iraq. They still got their heads chopped off.
