work and depression?

Can't find a job, went on interview yesterday, felt good about it, why can't i find a job. perfect job, perfect hours, perfect setting, my interview was perfect. Can anyone tell me why no one has called me back yet. He was suppose to call by 600 last night. I have been on 7 interviews in 3 weeks and nothing. My resume is Monster, HotJobs, Careerbuilder, Medgigs.net, SnagaJob, University of Chicago, Advocate Hospitals, Rush even Ingalls. Now I ask you do I have a reason to be depressed. My boyfriend who has been real supportive, told me everything will be find and work will come. He also said, as long as we support each other mentally, spirtually, emontionally we will be fine. I have two degrees under my belt, Associate and Bachelors I'm 20 years old, my boyfriend and I stay together, I have unemployment from my last job, I had to stop working due to my serious health issues. I want anyone's opionion, do I have reason to be upset and depressed? Will except any comments.

  1. I'm trying to find a job myself. I'm 50 years old now, and my choices are limited. Good luck in your search.
  2. Maybe god is looking out for you and knew none of the interviews you went on were good for you. The right job will fall in your lap. Dont get depressed or discouaged.
  3. cheer up, it will be fine
  4. Believe it or not, it takes time to find that perfect job. Anyone here will tell you that. There are some that are fortunate enough to land that perfect job right away; even w/o a degree. Just keep applying and let fate take it's course.
  5. I would not see why you would be depressed. You have a man who loves and supports you. There is nothing better then that. As far as the job goes I can understand why you would be bored and anxious to get out into the work place but like your man said. It will come. Sometimes you have to wait for the right one to come along. You have your resume out and people are probably noticing you. Just relax and things will happen. In the mean time enjoy your free time especially since you will not have any of it later. Best of luck.
  6. Yes, you have every reason to be upset. Yet, you must look at what you have. A wonderful boyfriend who is supportive, an Associate plus a Bachelors degree. Don't you know that there are many people who would love to have the education background you have. Relax, don't get so emotional, let time take run it's course. Good things happen to those who wait with patience.
