Heart Murmur procedure needs to be done. What hospital should I go to?

My daugther needs a heart murmur closed. What hospital is recommended best, University of Chicago Comer Childrens Hospital or Childrens Memorial?

1. I personally don't know anything about either hospital- I'd find a pediatric cardiologist that you feel the best with in regards that. Unless you're saying that the ped cardio goes to both.
2. Any good cardiac surgical unit should be able to handle the relatively simple procedure to correct cardiac murmur. Usually this can be handled with medication itself if the murmur is mild. The next higher activity can be a valvuloplasty. In severe cases a valve replacement may be advised.
3. i would check the reputations fo various doctors and hospitalllllls? ask for refereances . this is serious. check out both hospitals and ask for a tour of their premises.
