I have a final coming up in my medical law and ethics class.......Please read and give me some ideas please?

Research a current ethical issue. Create a case study based on your research. Include the major facts of the issue along with the legal and ethical dilemmas. The case study should be presented in writing.

1. How to reduce the Moral Hazard of a direct relationship of medical doctors giving more services and medical doctors receiving hire income.
2. Stem cell research would be a great one.
3. HMO's and health insurer's having accountants decide who gets care and how much. This should be the decision of the physician.
4. Ahh, I remember these. I did mine on Physician assisted suicide and created a fictional case study about a woman with terminal bone cancer requesting it. Some other ideas: Using gender selection when undergoing In Vitro Real cases of ethical dilemmas, such as the Terri Schiavo case Late term abortions for woman with life-threatening conditions, right or wrong... ect.
5. Homosexuality and hormonal therapy treatment. Stem Cell Research Euthanasia (of people) Medicaid abuse Termination of pre-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation in pediatric patients
6. Terry Schiavo would make a good case study for you. Here is my favorite medical ethical issue: Is asking a surgeon if you need to have surgery the same thing as asking a photographer if you should get your picture taken? What else is he going to tell you?
